Inveraray

The famous Inveraray Castle which is the seat of the Duke of Argyll, the bell tower, the court house, wild life park, Inveraray Jail, Auchindrain Heritage Museum, Crarae Gardens, pony trekking and fish farm.

Tarbert Quaint fishing village with ancient castle and views over Loch Fyne. On the way is the famous Smokehouses of Loch Fyne Kippers.
Crinan Start of the Crinan Canal from the west which during summer is a haven of colour provided by the many yachts and boats which visit. Sandy Beaches which are ideal for swimming and further away at Tayvallich a seafood restaurant make fir this short trip being very worthwhile.
Kilmartin On the road to Oban, Kilmartin is famous for the series of standing stones which culminate with the display at the church. Dunadd Hill, a famous fort site is also on the way.

Lorn & Oban The cross roads of the Highlands and the main port for Hebridean travel give you the impression of a busy centre. This may be true of Oban town with its many shops, woolen mills etc., but the scenery and scope of places to visit, which even includes a glider school open to day visitors! and the famous Sea Life Centre.
Cowal & Dunoon SHome of the younger Botanical Gardens, the Cairndow Estate which has the Britain's highest tree, and the world renowned Cowal Games, and countless more sights and experiences, the Cowal area is well worth the visit.
Islands Whether you prefer a quiet time or an island with lots on offer for kids large and small, you will find at least one to please from the selection on offer. Islay and Jura famous for their hills, deer and not least malt whiskies, or the sunny island of Bute with its many attractions. Gigha with its Achamore Gardens or Arran with Goat Fell, Mull and Iona, home of Columba, the list is endless
